In 2022 Olivia launched Vibrant Iris Consulting with a singular mission to support early education and human services organizations rebuild their resilience and effectiveness through strategic planning, executive coaching and consulting, and leadership development. She actively studies and grounds her work in emerging science on human motivation and performance, business development, and effective teams.
Olivia’s professional history includes over 20 years in early childhood education teaching and leadership, 15 years as a Head Start grantee leader, 9 years in local government senior leadership, 8 years in Colorado Head Start Association leadership, and 6 years as Early Childhood Education Faculty in the Colorado Community College System. She received the Front Range Community College Online Master Teacher Award in 2020.
Olivia has a Master of Arts degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver, and a BA in Women's Studies and Political Theory from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
When she is not geeking out on all things motivation, learning, and development, Olivia prioritizes time with her family, pets, and brilliant friends. She spends time in her intermittently productive suburban garden that reminds her that sometimes you gotta get your hands a little dirty if you want to experience something as delicious as a fresh garden tomato or as fragrant as an iris blossom.
